Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy uses medicines that affect rapidly dividing cells. Different drugs and combinations are used for different cancers and treatment goals.

Targeted therapy

Targeted medicines are designed to act on specific molecular features of cancer cells. Biomarker testing can help determine whether a targeted treatment may be relevant.

Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy helps the immune system recognize or attack cancer in specific settings. Examples include immune checkpoint inhibitors and other immune-based approaches.

Hormone therapy

Some cancers depend on hormones to grow. Hormone-based treatments can block hormone production or prevent hormones from stimulating cancer cells.

Important: Treatment decisions depend on cancer type, stage, biomarkers, overall health and individual circumstances. Discuss options with an oncology team.
